Thus, this process should be continuously researched to stay maintain and increase market share. For example, the research will identify cyclical sales, may determine product upgrades, develop new marketing strategies, (promotional opportunities for each product), and comparison between competitors, (identifying when a competitor implemented sales strategies). As products level off in sales, new strategies need to be considered to grow in the industry. This is a prime example how back office operations will help managers at the front end processes make decisions to become more successful. My query would be broad and would include several Income Statement (revenue and cost of goods elements: revenue, sales orders, purchase orders, etc.) and Balance Sheet categories, (cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable). By researching these financial statement elements I’m able to narrow my focus on anomalies.
