CYB-210 Computer Networking Project Two Network Diagram and Rationale. Network Diagram The pre-existing network configuration was separated into two segments, being Subnet1 and Subnet2. Network 3 has Server_Network3 without the DHCP and DNS services implementation on it. Once the acquires company came aboard and a new network is added, Network3, some changes and requirements to a new network were necessary. Since the addition of the hardware of the new company can not be fully trusted, they need to remain on their own network but still be able to communicate with the current pre-existing network. Once new hardware arrives it can be properly setup to reverse these changes. The first requirement is to create a new IP config that combines both Subnet1 and Subnet2 into a new network, NetworkA; which must be a Class C network. To do this, we removed the switch for Subnet2 and connected all those devices to the switch for Subnet1. The switch was renamed to NetworkA_Switch and is now accommodating all devices previously on Subnet1 and Subnet2, which have also been renamed accordingly. The IP Address for NetworkA is set to 192.168.1.0/24. For Network3 to be configured with existing hardware, a connection from the Subnet_Router has been added to Network3 Switch, utilizing the GigabitEthernet0/1 interface on the switch. I also add the new router with interface Se3/0 with ip adderesses 20.0.0.1 and 20.0.0.2, This study source was downloaded by from CourseH on :06:57 GMT -05:00 The Subnet_Router has been configured for the interface that links to Network3 Switch with an IP Address of 192.168.10.1/24. On top of that, DHCP and DNS Services were enabled and configured with IP 192.168.11.254. Network Design Rationale: Network A: IP networking: 192.168.1.1 Subnet masks : 255.255.255.0 Subnet Router: 10.0.0.1, 20.0.0.1 Server Router: 10.0.0.2 Network 3 Router: 20.0.0.2 Network 3: Network: 192.168.10.100/24 Default gateway: 192.168.10.1 Subnet masks: 255.255.255.0 DNS: 192.168.11.254 Server Router Static:
