Biot Savart Laws - Magnetic interactions (Physics)
A set of notes and practice problems on the topic of magnetic interactions for Physics 272. The focus is on Biot Savart law which links moving charges to a magnetic field. The example problems all discuss magnetic fields induced/created by current carrying wires of different shapes. Problems involve basic integration and simple trigonometry in order to accurately estimate the magnetic field at given locations around current carrying wires. The material covered in these notes will appear on the Physics 272 Purdue Spring 2023 Midterm #3 exam.
