I received a DISTINCTION grade on my own applied science 2D assignment, and now it's available for purchase. With my assignment, you can see first-hand what it takes to achieve a high mark in this subject. My work is thorough, well-researched, and includes clear explanations of the concepts involved. If you have any questions or need any help, please don't hesitate to send me a message and I'll try my best to help.

, Introduction
In this assignment, I will be evaluating the different procedures and
techniques I have performed throughout the whole of unit 2. These
procedures and skills include titration, colorimetry, calorimetry, and
chromatography (both TLC and paper). I am going to review how I carried
out these procedures and any obstacles I may have encountered in the
process. My personal development of scientific skills for work in the
laboratory work and new skills I have gained will also be looked at in
depth and how they can be applied to future experiments in laboratory
settings.

Personal responsibilities
Standard procedures and protocols must be followed by everyone in a
laboratory setting at all times. The aim for following these procedures is to
ensure that no accidents occur along the process, and that the
experiments run as smoothly and successfully as possible, with no
mishaps that might have been avoided in the first place.
Some of the main responsibilities that must be followed are:
- Working to appropriate standards and protocols.
- Application of safe working practices.
- Accepting the responsibility for the quality of your own work.
- Taking responsibility for completing tasks as well as using
judgements.

2A: titration and colorimetry
The goal of this experiment was to determine the concentrations of
solutions by titration and colorimetry. We had to work with a variety of
chemicals as well as delicate glassware and equipment in order to do this.
This posed a serious health risk to myself and everyone else nearby.
When handling any chemicals, such as sodium carbonate and hydrochloric
acid, I used goggles and gloves to keep everyone safe. These chemicals
irritate the skin and eyes and are extremely harmful when they come into
touch with them. Because laboratory glassware is delicate, I was very
careful with how I handled and placed beakers, conical flasks, burettes,
and other equipment. I avoided placing any glass on any edges where it
could be easily knocked over and broken. It is essential to understand the
safety protocols and what to do in the event of an accident in these
circumstances. Any irritation, as well as any cuts, should be rinsed with
gently running tap water. In more serious circumstances, it's best to get
medical attention immediately so that the situation or injury doesn't get
any worse. I did not ensure that the solution was transferred drop by drop
from the burette to the conical flask below; instead, I simply turned the
tap. This was a significant mistake on my part because indicators change
colour slowly, which means I may have added more solution than
necessary, resulting in inaccurate and unreliable readings. I would
sometimes forget to tare the mass balance when measuring out the
components and chemicals. This would, of course, give me the vessel and
component measurements, which would be inaccurate. This, however,
