, Executive summary
This portfolio seeks to contrast the CIPS’s work and the fact that many poor-quality jobs
could be easily improved by changing people management practices. CIPD Good Work
Index is “an annual benchmark of job quality in the United Kingdom” (CIPD 2022). All data
included in this portfolio has been collected using secondary data. In this research, I will talk
about some key areas for improvement which are: values, culture and relationships,
workforce planning and organisational development employment relations and people
analytics and reporting.
