The most important influence on my moral development as I grew up My parents were Catholics who did not miss church any Sunday. They played an essential role in making me the person I am today as they encouraged me to lead a life that pleased God and enabled me to co-exist with other people in the community. The punishment was one of my parents' ways to make us embrace good morals, which is also acknowledged among Kohlberg's Six Stages of Moral Development[ CITATION Wil181 l 1033 ]. My siblings and I feared punishment.
