, QUESTON 1
1.1 A Poem
One critical reading strategy that I can use to assist learners in understanding a poem is close
reading, involves carefully analyzing the language, structure, and imagery of the poem in order
to gain a deeper understanding of its meaning.
To use this strategy with learners, I could start by providing them with a copy of the poem and
encouraging them to read it several times, paying close attention to specific elements such as
the rhyme scheme, meter, and figurative language.
Finally, I could also provide context for the poem, such as the background information about the
author and the historical or cultural context in which the poem was written. This can also help
learners to better understand the meaning and significance of the poem.
1.2 I would divide the pupils into different groups. Make a hierarchy of groups and subgroups.
Make up different rules for different groups. Appoint leaders for the different groups. Introduce
collective punishment. Give the leaders right to punish members if their group. Then the fun
begins. I would Identify different privileges and duties that for every group.
Example. Muslims girl may wear hijab. American boys may wear a baseball cap. European boys
may wear a baseball cap, but never indoor.
1.3 The benefits of using technology platforms, such as WhatsApp, for your students when they
read and study a literary setwork for group-work stay connected with their peers, teachers, and
mentors, as well as to find and access information quickly and efficiently, therefore it can
increase student engagement.
1.4.1 Gentle tone
1.4.2 A school principal in a staffroom before the teaching hours commence, is requesting
teachers to concentrate on supporting learners emotionally in addition to supporting them
