1. The meaning of physical resources are the tangible resources that the business needs to maintain in order to
carry out the activities. As an example the materials, buildings, vehicles and machines. These are all capital
intensive.
Among other things like the meaning of technological resources that is a system and tools required to produce an
product or service. That are energy, information, tools and machines. They aid production processes and service
delivery in organizations.
2 Buildings and facilities is the first physical resource the purpose of it in H&M is. That the workforce that works
goes to a location in a large building. In this place they make new designs for collections. In the buildings they can
also make the clothing and have business meetings. The look of the building is also important, because it can
attract people. This is basically the heart of the company where the product is being designed and made. They do
the day to day work in this place.
They manage this with security and emergency procedures. That there will be no other people entering after
closing hours. Also when there is a fire in the building, that the workforce gets out safe. They also use falicities
like desks and canteens for the workforce.
