The History of how South Korea came to be is long. North and South Korea were united at one point in history, but for the most part it was divided. There were wars but, the was also progression. Through the years Korea created technology which helped it become what it is today. It adapted from other different cultures, like Chinese culture, through out history. Their music, traditions, holidays, etc., changed slightly over time, but that's what culture is all about. Many people travel from all over the world to visit Korea for their historic landmarks, their music, food, traditions, etc.
