Introduction
For this assignment my manager has set me the task of researching all of
the different types of information used within a business. I must choose a
business and use that same business throughout the assignment.

Verbal
Verbal communication is the sharing of information between individuals
through the use of speech. The individuals working within a business need
to use verbal communication effectively that uses spoken words that can
be easily understood. The accent and tone of voice used must be
expressed in the most appropriate manner. It serves as a means of
transportation for expressing desires, ideas and concepts and is vital to
the processes of learning and teaching. The main purpose of verbal
communication is to convey information to individuals face to face so that
it is easily understood. For example, within a business verbal
communication would be used by a manager. A manager would use verbal
communication when engaging in an interview with a potential new
employee.

Written
Written communication any type of interaction that involve the use of
written words. Communicating through writing is essential in the modern
world and is essential for business owners and managers to develop
effective written communication skills and to inspire the same in all
employees. Writing skills are an important part of communication. Good
writing skills allow individuals to communicate messages with clarity and
ease to a large audience. It is much more practical compared to face to
face or using the telephone. One of the main purposes of written
communication is to enable the individual that is receiving the written
with proof or a record of it. Written communication comes in many
different forms such as documents or letters. In a business, written
communication is used by the employers when giving employees
timesheets and contracts of employment.
