Selection
Recruiting and selection represent the process of finding and
hiring the best qualified candidate (from within or outside of the
business). The recruitment process includes analysing the
requirements of a job, attracting employees to that job (by
advertising the vacancy), selecting applicants, hiring, and
integrating the new employee to the organisation. Selection
represents the process of interviewing and evaluating
candidates for a specific job and selecting an individual for
employment founded on certain criteria.
Now I will describe how two organisations plan recruitment
using internal and external sources.
I chose for this assignment Lufthansa and Nestle.
Both companies will need to hire the because of the following
reasons:
Employee leaving
Is the moment when an employee leaves the company for
various reasons. For example a pilot resigns as he found a job
that gives more benefits (In the case of Lufthansa). Another
example a manager left the company as the work place is too
