In this assignment I’m going to demonstrate working as
part of a team towards achieving specific goals, dealing
with any conflict or difficult situations as a team leader.
Workings towards achieving specific goals are critical for your
effectiveness as a team. Even if you are not in a management
or leadership role yet, better understanding of team work can
make you a more effective team member. In my team, my role
was the market campaigner. Despite having that role I still felt I
needed to take in a more immersed role in the team. In order to
incorporate skills into my team I included I mastered belbin’s
roles. These included being a Specialist (single-minded,
dedicated and provides knowledge and rare skill) secondly a
Team worker (Co-operative, mild, perceptive and diplomatic.
In other words good listener and able to build healthy
relationships. Lastly an implementer (Disciplined, reliable and
turns ideas into practical actions). Teamwork is a massive part
of an effective team; it determines how effective the team can
be whilst working together. The main aspects of effective team
work are communication, time keeping, organisation,
management and support. These aspects create a liner
direction for the team to reach their goals.
Each task on the assignment sheet was allocated to a team
member. For example Team leader allocated me to marketing
campaigner role. (Which I done very well if I can say so myself)
however I helped all my team in all their roles as I didn’t want
any failings on my team. With the cost of price for the Pizza’s
we worked together by separating the ingredients between us
to make it easier for ….. who was coordinating the ingredient
prices. Also me and I and ….. started to work together at one
