CONTEXT OF THE CASE High Involvement Managerial strategy focuses on combining the thinking and the doing; thus, employees need to improve their knowledge constantly (thinking) to obtain the best results for their firm (doing). This strategy is where the employer usually provides the workers with a considerable degree of autonomy on their jobs – allowing for a business structure that encompasses everyone’s ideas, performance, and decisions. The business strategy would be most like the prospector because the firm wants to be the first to make new fitness products and solutions available to its customers. Under Porter typology, it would be a focused differentiator as the firm wants to provide unique products or services to a narrow range of customers.
