INVESTIGATIVE REPORT
Investigative report into the feasibility of repairing the community hall.
1. Terms of Reference
Dr Dunge requested the Chairperson of the Sports, Arts and Recreation
Portfolio to conduct an investigation into the feasibility of repairing damages
and renovating the community hall in the shortest time and least expense. The
report is to be submitted by 12 August 2021 to the Councilor.
2. Procedures (4-5 procedures)
2.1 A team was selected to do the field research on the requirements of
repairing damages and renovating the community hall. A team of 6 experts in
different fields was brought together including an engineer and the
architectures.
2.2 An assessment was conducted to find out the damages that are currently
at the community hall and how the time that will be required to fix and renovate
the hall
2.3 The team conducted an investigation on the prices and availability of the
labour that will be required to fix and do the renovations of the community hall.
2.4 A questionnaire was sent to the community members to find some
volunteers who would like to help in the renovation of the community hall.
2.5 The finance department was approached to find out if there can be some
funds available for the renovations
