External factors and cultural differences
In this report I would be discussing how my selected business can trade
internationally , recommend two countries they can develop into followed
by a situational analysis. My chosen business is Apple who are the biggest
or one of the biggest tech companies in the world and already operating
in most countries.
Task One )
Apple are already trading and operating in most countries as they can and
can develop into more if they wanted to but of course Apple would have
to consider the external factors for trading / operating internationally. So
for this I have carried out an SWOT and PESTLE analysis which explains
the factors they could potentially run into.
● Political - Apple getting their products made from China is already
a rough situation for them due to the trade war as it has increased
tariff rates for them to get them products manufactured and
imported / exported to somewhere else. So if Apple was to develop
into more countries they would have to worry about the tariff rates
they could potentially get as more products are being made so the
rates are going to be even more increased.
● Economical - The economical factor relates back to the political
factor , Apple economy can potentially decrease depending on how
well they do in that certain country. Also Apple will have to worry
about the currencies in that different country along with that trade
because both parties will want to profit from it and for that to work
the currencies will have to be matched and thats when the trading
bloc comes into play allowing both parties to trade with each other
fairly.
● Social - The demand for Apple products will vary depending on
what country they develop into but for now Apple are doing
excellent that they marketed themselves very well.
● Technological - Technology will vary depending what country
they're going to develop into as some countries demand for tech
won't be as high or common compared to other countries which will
indicate will Apple be able to last there.

● Legal - Laws and regulations will matter no matter what country
they will settle into so Apple will have to do some research on that
certain country so they know what it's like there and will they be
able to develop there the way how they develop into other
countries.
● Environmental - Apple will need to make sure that their products
over there are going to be sustainable which will last long for the
consumer and allow Apple to carry on operating over there. Also
they will need to make sure that the country allows Apple to use the
hardware that they use now as some countries are starting to bring
in green technology which is good for the environment and
economy.
