A drug allergy is an immunological-mediated reaction with varying mechanisms and clinical presentations (Warrington et al., 2018). A drug allergy can be triggered by any medication, whether it is over the counter, prescription or herbal (Mayo Clinic, 2022). Drug sensitivity is also known as drug tolerance. It is not an allergy but it ismainly caused due to reduction of drug clearance through the body which leads to side effects. Low kidney or liver function may contribute to low clearance. Several genes involved in drug
