Describe two human rights that were pronounced in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They have reason and conscience and should act in a brotherly manner toward one another. Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Which means that, technical and professional education would be made widely available, and higher education will be open to everybody on the basis of merit. 1.2) Explain how each of the following international policies or documents influences the concept of inclusive education. Apartheid and racial segregation are condemned, and governments are obligated to "prevent, prohibit, and destroy" these practices in all of their territories. All learners have a right to education irrespective of race, and nobody is allowed to be racially prejudice to the people around them. This promotes understanding and tolerance among many racial, ethnic, and national groupings. All children have a right to education and accept that every child is unique in their own way and should be accepted in school and society. Due to the uniqueness of each child the education system must cater for these diverse needs and characteristics. Even a “special needs child” should have access and a chance at normal schools to remove the discriminatory stigma at regular schools. This also supports to build an inclusive society and attaining education for all. Teachers must be well trained in order to work with many types of learners, regardless of their origins. Teachers are also encouraged to adopt SAIS practices to promote a successful learning experience for all students. Teachers must be able to give learners with necessary and appropriate support services. They are required to be able to identify the cause of learning barriers and to access and help students who are experiencing learning difficulties. Teachers must guarantee that all pupils have access to differentiated curriculum. They must protect and make sure the learning experience is both effective and enjoyable for everyone.
