Onderstaande afbeelding is een schematische tekening van 4 aangrenzende darmepitheel cellen en
hun basale lamina. Alle cytoskelet elementen en junctions zijn in deze tekening gezet en worden
onder de tekening benoemd:

Zwart = kern
Rood = actin filamenten
Groen = microtubuli
Blauw = intermediaire filamenten (keratine)
Bovenin = tight junction
Daaronder = adherens junction
Daaronder = gap junction
Daaronder = desmose
Onderaan = hemidesmose
Groene bolletje = centrosome
Oranje = basal lamina

, Vervolgens kijken we naar een afbeelding met daarop een schematische tekening van twee
epidermis cellen met ook weer de cytoskelet elementen en alle mogelijk junctions. Bovengenoemde
nummering en kleur overeenkomsten gelden hier ook.
