What is mode of transmission?
The word "modes of transmission" refers to
the various methods through which an
infectious agent, also known as a pathogen
(viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi, and
protozoan), can be passed from one person,
object, or animal to another.
There are 2 types of transmission
Direct contact- human to human and
animal to human (zoonosis)
Indirect contact- vector (mosquito),
droplets (coughing and sneezing) and
contaminated area, food, or water.

through direct contact and the
causative organism that help the
spread of disease?
Athlete’s foot also known as (tinea pedis)
is caused by the organism fungi. It’s being
transmitted through direct contact with
infected person, or it could also be spread
