Ninja first mission
Setting:
- Japan 1580
- Taka is hidden for over an hour still as a stone under the floar-boards
Characters:
Taka - 14 years old
- Wears gold silk robe with crest of black eagle on his back.
- Across his right cheek is a long red scar
- He carries samurai swords on his hip.
- His task is to stop Lord Oda destroying the clan.
- His first attempt he failed, because the Grandmaster heard me crunching across the court-yard
before I even get close to the temple.
- His second attempt he failed, because Grandmaster is blind, his sense of smell and hearing is
more sensitive. He smelled the rich fertile earth of the paddy fields on my feet. This was another
lossen how to be invisible; a ninja must remove or cover up any smells that might give him away.
Lord Oda - Samurai warrior
- Sworn enemy of the ninja
- Murdered Taka’s father during the Battle of Black eagle 13 years ago, because of him Taka never
meets his father.
- Wore: black eagle crest of Lord Oda’s army.
- Lives in the Black Eagle Castle
Sensei Shima - Teacher Taka
- She passed the black-belt-test at first ten years ago, so she can go on any mission.
- 24 years old.
Cho - 15 years old
- Long black hair, small
- Her acrobatic skills are the best of the clan
- It took her two attempts to get her black belt
Renzo - 16 years old
- Very long, strong arms and a shaven head.
- It took him five attempts to get his black belt, but he always brags that he did it in two attempts.
- Black-belt-only test will be his tenth mission.
Tenshin - Clan leader
- Wears his black gi, a ninja uniform with the crest of twe hawks on the front. The two hawks are
emblem of the clan.
Grandmaster - The head of ninjutsu the secret martial art of the ninja.
- Old face and wrinkled with a long grey beard.
- Invites a student on his fourteenth to his temple in the mountains to take a flower from his hand,
without being detected; Grandmaster must feel nothing and mustn’t know that they are even here.
- Old and blind, nut the task is not easy. There are traps set all through the temple.
