Here is our strategy during year 10 for our company Friendly Fotos, based off of the guide and what we learned from the last rounds: Year nine was out best round so far. We are still in fourth place; however, we finally received a bonus point for our estimations! Product Design – During the 10th year we increased the multi-feature P/Q rating to 3½ stars, while maintaining a 3 star P/Q for the entry level cameras. We continued to maintain the number of models so we could focus on quality over quantity; however, we made some adjustments to the design of the camera based on the analysis of the competition. We increased the image resolution on the entry level and on the multifeature camera we increased the optical zoom. However, we left everything else the same for both cameras. By making this change it enabled us to increase the P/Q rating on the multi-feature to 3½ stars. Marketing Focus- Once again we continued to market in Europe-Africa, then AsiaPacific, Latin America and last North America. We are continuing to make some advancements in North America. We increased all of the on-line retailers and multistore-chains in each area because of cost and increased local camera shops in North America and Asia-Pacific. We did not change the pricing too much. As far as the multifeature camera we increased it to $425 across the board. We maintained our warranty period for both cameras to 1 year in all areas. Then we increased promotion periods and percentages off in order to help sales and off set costs. Entry-Level Assembly- This year we had the same plan for assembly as we did in the previous year. We seemed to sells out in half of the regions and in the others had a few extra on hand. We made sure to keep extra on hand especially with the sales. We still focused heavily in the third quarter, but made sure to have some extras to begin the first quarter of the following year.
