 Het doelgericht managen van personeel in organisaties. De bedoeling is dat
managers hun medewerkers motiveren op een op de organisatie afgestemde manier,

, zodat zij in staat zijn om hun werk vorm en inhoud te geven zonder veelvuldige
inmenging van een leidinggevende.

11.1 Het humanresourcesmanagementproces
11.1.1 De uitgangspunten van HRM

1. Mensen vormen binnen een organisatie geen kostenpost, maar zijn activa.
2. Personeelsbeleid is in eerste instantie een verantwoordelijkheid van het
management ene niet van personeelsfunctionarissen.
3. Er is sprake van een langetermijnvisie op personeelsbeleid.
4. Personeelsinstrumenten als werving en selectie, personeelsplanning, het opstellen
van functieprofielen meet bijbehorende competenties en opleidingsplannen staan in
directe relatie tot elkaar en moet je geïntegreerd toepassen.
5. Strategisch beleid van de organisatie en personeelsbeleid beïnvloeden elkaar.

11.1.2 Het belang van HRM
 Het behalen van concurrentievoordeel, door verhogen productieve door goede
werksituatie creëren.

High-performancebeleid
 Beleid dat resulteert in werkwijzen die voor zowel het individu als de organisatie tot
betere prestaties leiden. (BV. zelfsturende teams, gedecentraliseerde besluitvorming,
flexibele taakverdeling, etc.)

Humanresourcesmanagementproces
 Activiteiten die nodig zijn om de organisatie van voldoende personeel te voorzien en
om de prestaties tot een acceptabel niveau op te voeren.




11.2 Externe invloeden op hete HRM-proces
Economie
 Een voorbeeld hiervan is bijvoorbeeld dat de economische recessie grote invloed had
op het HRM-proces.
