Definition of APPLIED SPORT PSYCHOLOGY :

• Applied sport psychology is the study AND application of the psychological principles
applicable to helping athletes to better their performance and be more competitive and
capable. This must have a positive impact on the performance and mindset of the athlete.

SPORT PSYCHOLOGY works to understand what factors can positively influence the
brain to have a possitve effect on the performance of the professional athlete.

The positive development of the mind is as an important component of the modern
athlete as is physical conditioning.
