In which we discussed how your age affects your cognitive, physical and socio-emotional aspects. When a person is aging their body goes through a lot of changes, from the Positives and negatives of aging. As we get older, we need to try to stay healthy and lead a healthy life to remain strong and to keep our immune system working right. The physical downfall of not staying healthy and not keeping our immune system healthy. Especially when we are not able to do our (ADLS) Activities of daily living. The cognitive aspect of aging is an essential aspect because without our memory we start to forget things. And When we ignore things that are important in our life. For example, forgetting to take the necessary medication or just forgetting to use the bathroom when you feel like you need to. That's when we need help and support from a caretaker. To remember those things for us, we forget. The socioemotional aspect of aging is when you get less social, and with age, you become more emotional to things in life. All these aspects can be a large key to one changing as we age. The fears I have of aging is growing older, my body changing. And dying from old age and not being around family and friends ever again in my life. I fear that my facial features will change, and I will not look the same as I did when I was 20 years old. I know that we will all change in some way either it being we have wrinkles, or our skin starts to get saggy. And no matter what we do it will happen. I am in the process of starting to eat healthily, exercise more to help my body stay strong and not get weak as I get older.
