Why can´t people just let love be love?
Only 26 of all countries in this world allow the marriage between partners with the same
gender. That means that exactly 169 countries do not allow same-sex marriage, but why?
So many people can´t understand how to love a person with the same gender as you have,
because it is not `normal´ for them, but is that really the case? Why is it not considered to be
`normal´ to love a person with the same gender? Just imagine: You think that a girl/boy from
your class has the perfect character and would be the perfect partner for you, would it be
wrong to love this person? You would just say because of society that it is wrong, but should
society tell you who to love? It is maybe `traditional´ that a woman marries a man and not
someone with the same gender.
Maybe in the bible it says, that the woman is made of the rib from the man and that there is
all time man married to woman, but is that what we should believe? The bible is also just
written by a human person, so can we really say, that everything what is written in there is
correct? At that time, homosexual people where not even allowed. Do we have to believe in
every word which is written in the bible, also if we do not share this opinion?
We are living in 2018 so it should be legal to like, love and marry whoever we want. We build
our own future, so I would say that we as the younger generation should stand up against
the hate towards homosexual marriage, because I want to live in a world, where you can live
your own live, without being avoid or hated by others, just because they can´t understand
your view on love.
My opinion is, that we should educate children in a way that they can decide for themselves,
who they want to love. The most adults always talk about set genders when they talk about
the relation between you and your lifepartner, so they also have set opinions about their
relationships and can´t imagine other ways. We should start at the older generations and tell
them to talk to their kids about these topics and that when you fall in love, the gender, the
age, the religion, the education, the origen or the opinion of others doesn´t matter at all,
bacause it is YOUR life and noone can tell you what´s wrong and what´s right, because there
is no right and no wrong!
What is the matter between loving a girl and loving a boy? I will never understand
homophobic people who bully others just because of their sexuality. Why is called phobia? It
is not even a phobia more just an opinion against same gender love. There are so many more
problems on this world. Like a famous quote says: ``The world has bigger problems than boys
kissing boys and girls kissing girls!´´ I can just say, that I kompletly agree to this quote, as I
think that there are so many more katastrophies we should worry about than two people
from the same gender kissing, loving or marrying each other. We as the younger generation
should start to change and improve the world!
I have some friends with other sexualities and they sometimes tell me shocking stories
