Question 1:

For every single subject that schools offer, the government has certain requirements
that need to be fulfilled during that school year. This is where teachers will require an
ATP. An ATP stands for Annual Teaching Plan. The Annual Teaching Plan for Life
Skills provides the educators with certain goals and information they need for the
school year. The purpose of these documents is that it gives you a detailed guideline
of what exactly needs to be covered in Life Skills. By having a proper lesson and
year plan, the educator is more likely to achieve what needs to be done in
comparison to have nothing at all. It is essential for teachers to have this document
for Life Skills as it provides them with the support and the advice, they need for what
to cover for certain topics of life skills. This document also gives the direction of
activities, topics and assessments that need to be covered for that year. (Provides
an opportunity to see the entire direction of the teaching year by setting goals,
budgeting, performance indicators, as well as a set of principles to help instructors in
exercising their professional judgment in the best interests of their students in their
context.
