The John Deere Moldboard plow and the Breaking Prairie plow are made of wood, steel, and
iron. Both plows were made in the United States and were used to break through unplowed soils
in the 1800s. Both Plows allowed the American farmers in the West to be able to till more land
than before. It also helped control weeds. The John Deere Moldboard plow made it possible to
handle areas with clay soil, which was more fertile than other types of soil. Cultural Farmers
were happy that this created a breeding ground for profitable growth and cities, mostly in North
Europe. This equipment was made in the United States in 1845 and created by John Deere. The
