Abstract
Achtergrond: het aantal mensen met overgewicht stijgt. Overgewicht is een risicofactor voor
hart- en vaatziektes. De gezondheidsraad geeft daarom advies om wekelijks minstens 150
minuten per week matig of zwaar intensieve inspanning te leveren. Onderzoekers maken zich
grote zorgen omdat maar liefst 44% van de volwassen zich aan deze richtlijnen houdt.
Vandaar dit onderzoek naar deze leeftijdscategorie.
Onderzoeksvraag: wat is het effect van vier High Intensity Interval Trainingen (HIIT) van 8
minuten uitgevoerd in één week op de hartslag en emoties van jongvolwassen vrouwen tussen
de 18 en 20 jaar?
