2.2 What skills do you think are being developed? Justify your answer. (3)
Their physical skills are being developed, because there are using and moving their
whole body in making this artwork.
Another skill that’s being developed is creative skill, they can make whatever they want
so, they will use their own creativity and not do something their told to do.
Their imagination is also expanded, because as their busy being creative they can
imagine scenarios like their drawing a princess and so on. Their imagination is working.
2.3 List the four positive processes in children that you think are applied in doing this activity.

2.4 Explain how you can integrate this activity into other Foundation Phase subjects. (3)
You can integrate this in maths and see how learners construct what they understand of shapes.
By teaching them the vocabulary of different types of lines and two-dimensional shapes you integrate
that activity with the subject home language.
The teacher can integrate home language again when learning them to read, by using the pictures
they made to illustrate stories etc.
