INSTRUKSIES / INSTRUCTIONS
• Scan the QR-code or enter exam access code below before you start the exam.
• This exam is an open book exam. There are 4 sections (25 marks each). You are allowed
to consult your study material and prescribed book, but in answering questions you are not
allowed to copy from the study guide or tutorial letters. You must use your own wording.
• This exam requires individual work. Students are not allowed to work in groups. You are
not allowed to receive academic assistance from anyone via any method.
• Any form of plagiarism (including copying from another student) will be severely
penalised. Do not under any circumstances copy and paste from tutorial letters. You
will not receive any marks for this.

• Read the questions carefully and only answer what is asked. Take note of the mark
allocation of each question and adapt your answer accordingly. Provide examples if you
are asked to do so.
• Write/type your name, surname, student number and module code on the first page of your
answer file.
• All questions must be answered in AFRIKAANS ONLY.
• We prefer that you type your answers on a computer, but we will accept handwritten work. If
you want to submit handwritten work, you must write with a black pen. It is your responsibility
to convert the handwritten work to a PDF-file.
Additional technical instructions:
1. Students must upload their answer scripts in a single PDF file (answer scripts must not be
password protected or uploaded as “read only” files).
2. NO emailed scripts will be accepted.
3. Students are advised to preview submissions (answer scripts) to ensure legibility and that the
correct answer script file has been uploaded.
4. Students are permitted to resubmit (within the set timeframe) their answer scripts should their
initial submission be unsatisfactory. Maximum attempts: 2
5. Incorrect file formats will not be considered.
6. Incorrect answer scripts and/or submissions made on unofficial examinations platforms will
not be marked and no opportunity will be granted for resubmission.
7. Mark awarded for incomplete submission will be the student’s final mark. No opportunity for
resubmission will be granted.
8. Mark awarded for illegible scanned submission will be the student’s final mark. No opportunity
for resubmission will be granted.
9. Students who have not utilised invigilation tools will be subjected to disciplinary processes.
10. Students have 48 hours from the day of their examination to upload their invigilator results
from the Invigilator App. Failure to do so will result in students deemed not have participated
in the online invigilation.
11. Submissions will only be accepted from registered student accounts. Students
suspected of dishonest conduct during the examinations will be subjected to
disciplinary processes. UNISA has a zero tolerance for plagiarism and/or any other
forms of academic dishonesty. Make sure that you tick the honesty pledge before
submitting.
