Academic Success Plan

Whether it's in education, professional or otherwise, success is always our happiness in

everything we do. To achieve our goals, we need good planning and organization. Planning is

comparable to a compass, a tool that directs us to our destination. If we do not have good

planning, we will be like a lost person on his way. Wong, Wong, Rogers, and Brooks (2012) state

that classroom management is viewed as an organizational and structural process by effective

teachers. This organization that should take place the first two weeks of the class allows students

to learn and succeed in their school journey. Planning facilitates the task to the teacher and

student by establishing the class's routine, organization, structure, and expectations. I am

convinced that without planning, we will experience poor time management, and the teacher can

be overwhelmed by his work and the students' education.

Part 1: Classroom Management Plan

There are many ways to motivate and increase student engagement in classroom

activities. I can list a few: teamwork, valuing the student's culture, praising the student for

positive behavior or hard work, knowing the level and abilities of the student. Group work has

several advantages. It allows students to learn from each other by sharing their experiences or

knowledge. It strengthens their friendships and makes the class more enjoyable. Students who

work well or behave well in class also need to be recognized for their hard work. Therefore, it is

crucial to let the student know that his work is considered by praising him. This reinforces the

student's motivation and commitment. The student is also motivated when he is completing work

that is appropriate to his level. Work that is too hard or too easy for the student will tend to

demotivate the student. So, it's essential to differentiate as well.
