Preface
We present with great enthusiasm the ‘Project plan Curaçao’ carried out by students from the
HAN University of Applied Sciences.
The project plan is part of the education unit ‘Minor Global Health’ which is an optional
component within the full-time studies at the HAN. The four students, all third- or fourth year
students, who worked together on this project plan enjoyed working on the report together. This
teaching period has given us all a great deal of insight to interprofessional collaboration,
community development and global health.
During the period we were guided by Suzanne Konings, nursing teacher at the HAN, and X,
board member of the Children’s Museum.
We would like to thank them for all their good help, expertise and critical eye, which enabled us
to carry out the research.
We wish the reader of this report a lot of reading pleasure.
