Nucleic acids are…
molecules of life
that store information (the code) that controls cellular activity and
the development of an entire organism
and control the synthesis of proteins, which make up much of the
structure of the body and control chemical processes inside cells
and are found in the nucleus of every eukaryotic cell.
There are two types of nucleic acids:
1. DNA – deoxyribonucleic acid
2. RNA – ribonucleic acid
