Decubitus
Decubitus is een degeneratieve verandering van het weefsel veroorzaakt door zuurstofgebrek ten
gevolge van het collaberen van bloedvaten door weefselvorming. Deze vervorming van het weefsel
wordt veroorzaakt door een combinatie van druk- en schuifkracht.

Preventie decubitus
Motiveren van mobiliseren d.m.v. informatie gevolgen
Observeren van de huid (rubor, blaren)
Frequent wisselligging geven, andere houding! (elke 2 uur)
- Niet op de buik vanwege ademhaling
Aanpassen matras (debubitusmatras)
Goede voedingsstand > Evt. Aanvullen met voedingssupplementen
Gebruik kussens
Lokale warmte
