Hi everyone, my name is …. and welcome to my presentation.
Today I’m going to tell you some information about the trip I have put together for you.
The destinations I have chosen are London and Prague. In this presentation I will tell you
everything you need to know and of course you can always ask me some questions.
Why is London and Prague suitable for young adults?
London is a big city and has a lot to offer, think about markets, shopping, museums but also
parks and traditional pubs. I would recommend Camden Market where you can find food, art
and thrift shops. Or go to Hyde park for a picnic with your friends or rent a bike and cycle
through the city.
The public transportation in London is fast and very cheap. You can get anywhere you want,
whenever you want. There’s always something to do and the city is never boring
Moving on to Prague. Prague is considered as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
The historical center is one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is known as the Golden city.
Prague is a city where you can enjoy the house, techno, and many other types of dance
music. So, whatever you seek, you will find it in Prague. Another reason why Prague is fun
for young adults is because there is so much to do. From cultural activities to cooking classes
for the real foodies among us. For example, spray paint at The John Lennon Wall. The John
Lennon Wall serves as a welcome canvas for messages of hope and peace. Or pour your own
beer at the PUB Praha 2. Where an interactive scoreboard keeps track of the beer
consumption at each table.
How to get there?
Of course, we start with our first destination: London. There are 3 options to get from Dublin
to London.
Plane
Boat + bus
Boat + train
The fastest way to get to London is by plane. It’s an 1 hour and 13 minute flight and only
€35,- per person, carry-on bagage is included. Of course, we can also book additional
luggage for €23,- extra. You will fly with Ryanair.
The second option is by boat and bus. You will first take the ferry from Dublin to Liverpool
and continue by bus. It will take 8 hours to get there but luggage is included. The price for
this option is €63,- per person.
The last option is by boat and train. Again, you will take the ferry from Dublin to Liverpool
and continue the journey by train. The luggage is included, and it will take 5,5 hours to get
there. It’s relatively cheap and cost €57,- per person.
Given these three options, flying seems like the most affordable and fastest way to get
there.
