Hypopituitarism ● Decreased release of growth hormones or TSH deficiency ● Signs & Symptoms ○ As they get older you will see delay in the growth, hypoglycemia, slow tooth eruption, truncal obesity, abnormally high pitched voice, appear smaller ● Labs: IGF-1 ○ Tells if there is decreased insulin ● Dx: X-ray ● Growth hormone replacement therapy at bedtime ○ Done subcutaneously ○ Done until epiphyseal fusion has occurred
