Beste lezer,
Dit onderzoeksvoorstel is met veel plezier geschreven door Floris van den Berg en Maarten
Verhagen. Wij zijn tweedejaars studenten International Business Management en Hotel- en
Eventmanagement aan de Hogeschool Tio te Amsterdam.
Ter voorbereiding op de afstudeerscriptie wordt dit onderzoek geschreven in het derde
studiejaar. Tijdens het afgelopen semester is er onderzoek verricht naar hoe de formule 1
Zandvoort meer draagvlak kan creëren op het gebied van bereikbaarheid. Veel dank aan de
respondenten die benaderd zijn en onze docent Anniek Haverkamp voor de input om dit
onderzoek te ondersteunen.

,Management Summary
This research presents the results about measures in the field of accessibility for local
residents which Zandvoort can take to create more support for the F1. This report is based
on theory the researchers wanted to know about creating more support between a F1 event
and local residents. Besides that, this report is also a good preparation for the upcoming
thesis.
Surveys were conducted for this research. 66 surveys in total have been submitted to the
organization Formula 1 Zandvoort. The target group were local residents of Zandvoort. Most
Zandvoort would like to have a large support base for its activities around the F1 weekend.
This should bring cohesion between the organization and the local residents.
The main goal of the researcher is to give advice and suggestions to the local community of
Zandvoort and the organization. The report includes literature review, context analysis and
theoretical analysis. In a quantitative survey conducted through surveys, 66 people gave
their opinion on this research topic. After finding suitable studies for the problem definition by
means of research. Luxury hotels can increase guest loyalty by establishing emotional
relationships with the hotel visitors. This will increase their loyalty.
