Corporate culture of Nike

Nike's organizational culture is focused on creativity and
innovation to provide products such as shoes, clothes and
equipment that suit consumer preferences. The company is
known for cutting-edge sports shoes, apparel and equipment.
Nike Inc.’s organizational culture supports business resilience and
capability. Organizational culture is the combination of traditions,
habits, values, and behavioral expectations among employees.
Nike’s workers are given a set of instructions, rules and
expectations on how to do their jobs, with consideration for their
relations with customers and other employees. This approach
ensures that the company maintains its corporate culture, which
partly contributes to the success of the business. As one of the
giants in the global athletic shoe, apparel and equipment market,
Nike Inc. continues its policies and strategies to promote an
organizational culture that reinforces business resilience and
competence.1
Nike promotes a culture of invention (corporate culture). The Nike
business consists in building an extremely committed workforce
for their employees. Due to this Nike succeeded in having
employees conscious of the company's story. Nike has created

the encouragement of healthy living with a competitive spirit.
Nike’s global strategy for human resources is to help unleash
their employee’s potential across every area of their business that
in turn enable Nike’s business growth. Nike has an adaptive
culture due to its team, inspiring, growth, competitive, innovation,
quality and coaching. The corporate cultures of Nike are team and
innovation culture. This is identified as Nike keeps on innovating
their products such as shoes, clothes and equipment over the
years to interest and suit peoples change in taste and needs. This
will positively affect the business as the employees will feel safe
and motivated as Nike is making sure that they take care of their
employees through the help of different policies and strategies.
This will benefit the business as their employees will work harder
in making sure all the work is done on time and at its best
possible quality. Also, keeping their employees happy would
create advantages for their business as their employees would
leave good reviews which would be seen as ethical and would
create a good brand image which would persuade more well
trained employees into joining Nike in making it successful.
