Introduction
This assignment focuses on the types of research that will be used in order to collect data on
the target market for the new business that will be established. Furthermore, the reason why
these methods were chosen and how they are beneficial to the business will be explained.
Types of Research
There are many different types of research that can be used to collect data and information
on any topic or situation. These types of research include; primary research and secondary
research.
Primary Research
This type of research is defined as the collection of data and information that is done by
yourself. This type of research is beneficial for it ensures that the data collected is reliable
and up-to-date, rather than use previous research.

This is the act of data through by asking questions to the public for them to answer.
Nowadays, online surveys are very popular, for people are now getting paid to do them. This
can help us know important information such as what individuals like in their products and
what they expect the hair salon to provide. It will give persons a chance to express
