Zeven samenhangende dimensies:

1. Strategie  Een strategie van een organisatie is ‘hard’ beschreven in een
document. Hierin worden afspraken en doelen gemaakt, deze doelen zijn
SMART geformuleerd. SMART = Specifiek, Meetbaar, Acceptabel, Realistisch
en Tijdgebonden
2. Structuur  De structuur van een organisatie is weer te geven in een
organigram. De onderdelen van de organisatie zijn meteen te zijn,
horizontaal en verticaal.
3. Systemen  Systemen zijn ‘hard’: ze zijn objectief zichtbaar: werkwijzen,
procedures, schema’s, blauwdrukken, geautomatiseerde verwerking van
gegevens.
4. Personeel  de menselijke kant van de organisatie
5. Managementstijl  de manier waarop een manager zijn medewerkers
aanstuurt of overlegt
6. Gemeenschappelijke waarden  wat alle mensen samenbindt
7. Sleutelvaardigheden  de punten waarop de organisatie als geheel uitblinkt

resultaat opleveren. De output van de organisatie is dus het resultaat van de samenwerking tussen elementen,
bijvoorbeeld afdelingen.
