You are going to practise with assignments similar to the exam at the end of this module. Take no more
than 30 minutes to do the assignments.
Instructions:
It is allowed to use hard copy dictionaries during this test.
There is one writing assignment in this test: question 8 page 2. This assignment will be assessed
with a rubric for writing. Write down the number of words you’ve used.
All other assignments are reading assignments. Answer open questions in English. Only English
answers will be marked by your assessor. However, writing skills will only be assessed in the
writing tasks mentioned above.
Text 1: What if a bionic leg is so good that someone chooses to
amputate?
Read the article on page 4.
1 1 pnt What becomes clear about Hugh Herr in paragraphs 1-4?
A Herr’s recovery was quick because he was well-trained.
B Herr has multiple prostheses because his body changed over the years.
C Herr makes prostheses himself.

Why would those competitors do that? (use no more than 15 words)
Because Herr has done climbs that no other climbers had done before,
wich is an amazing thing and the competitors probably got jealous.

To make it feel like a real leg or even better.
