COGNITIVISM
El cognitivismo nos permite conocer cómo el cerebro realiza una serie de procesos
mentales para procesar la información que se le enseña de una manera eficaz a través de
ciertas estrategias.
Cognitivism allows us to know how the brain performs a series of mental processes to
understand and process the information it is taught effectively through certain strategies.
Information Processing
● Sensation: The sensation is produced when we relate to our environment through
the sensory organs which are responsible for sending information to the brain.
● Perception: After the information is in the brain it proceeds to be interpreted and
organized according to the need of the human being, this is what is known as
perception.
● Attention: Focusing on just one thing helps speed up the cognitive process, since
information obtained through the sensory organs is quickly defined.
● Memory: Es la capacidad que tiene el ser humano de mantener la información en el
cerebro ya sea a corto o a largo plazo.
Life Development Models
● Sensorimotor: The child begins to interact with the environment and become aware
of things around him even though he does not see them.
● Pre-operational: The child begins to represent the world symbolically. He uses
intuition instead of logical reasoning.
● Concrete Operational: The child learns rules that he generates.through what he
observes
● Formal Operational: The adolescent can transcend the concrete situation and think
about the future.
