• Possibility: might/might not, may/may not, could
• Advice: should/shouldn't, ought to

• Subject + Modal + Have + Past participle
• Must, can’t/couldn’t (certainty), could (it could have happened, but it didn’t), may/may not, might/might
not, should/shouldn’t, would (it would have happened, but it didn’t), needn’t
