information about him/her Invisible Man and The Time Machine. Wells was born in 1866 and died in 1946. His book: :"The War of the
Worlds", found its worldwide popularity a second time in 1938.

Short summary of plot The story begins in a little village called Iping. In Iping there is a little inn. One day a stranger comes to stay
(max. 25 lines) in your own there for a few nights. Mrs. Hall is the housekeeper of the inn. She brings dinner, breakfast and other things.
words Every time when Mrs. Hall comes to bring something, the stranger keeps a napkin for his mouth. The head
from the stranger is wrapped in white bandages and the stranger wears dark glasses. Mrs. Hall thought he
had an accident because he wore all those bandages. The stranger had a lot of boxes with him, in the boxes
were bottles and books. After the stranger is bitten by a dog the doctor comes to the inn for the stranger to
see him. The doctor finds out that the stranger has an empty sleeve without an arm. When the village finds
out that the stranger is invisible, the stranger leaves the village in a hurry. He meets a tramp called Thomas
Marvel. The stranger wants Thomas to get his clothes and belongings that he left behind in his room at the
inn. Thomas however betrays the stranger and the stranger goes to Dr. Kemp. Kemp is an old study buddy
of Griffin's. The stranger tells his story to Kemp, the real name of the stranger is Griffin and he discovered
how to become “invisible”. Kemp betrays Griffin and warns the police. When an angry crowd beats Griffin up,
he eventually dies of his injuries and at the end he gets visible again.

(Short) Character description The stranger (Griffin): He was a science student and obsessed with light. He found a way to make objects
of main character(s) invisible and he uses the cat of his neighbour to test the invisibility. His test is successful. When he is broke
and his landlord comes to ask for the money he decides to use the invisibility on himself and flees. He gets
paranoid and terrorises people by taking advantage of his invisibility.
Mrs Hall: She lets rooms of the inn together with her husband Mr. Hall. She is always very nice and tries to
take good care of the guests. As soon as Griffin comes, she immediately notices that something is wrong. At
first she is a little scared of him but she also feels sorry because she thinks that he has had a bad accident
because of the bandages around his head.
Doctor Kemp: He is an old study buddy of Griffin. At first he wants to help but when Griffin tells him about
