Short summary of plot It begins with an ship and an explorer named Robert Walton. He is looking for a way from Russia to go to
(max. 25 lines) in your own the Pacific via the Arctic Ocean. Then he finds Victor Frankenstein. Walton writes in the letters to his sister
words about the story of Victor. It starts that Victor lived in Switzerland and that he grew up with an orphan
adopted by his parents, her name is Elizabeth. Later Victor studies at the university of Ingolstadt where he is
a very good student and impresses his professors, M. Waldman and M. Krempe. Victor then plans to use
chemistry and electricity to reanimate a dead body. When the body is brought to life he feels guilty
immediately, and he runs away. Henry Clerval helps Victor getting better after he seeks solace. Victor
receives a letter from Alphonse that his little brother, William, was killed by an someone unknown. Victor
knows who killed him but cannot tell anyone, that while his housekeeper, Justine Moritz, gets accused of the
murder. Victor leaves to Mount Montanvert. There he gets confronted by the monster he created, he asks
Victor to "make me a mate of my own". Victor refuses that first but after the monster tells him his story how
he wants to leave Europe once he has a mate Victor is convinced and begins to work on a second creature.
First he goes back to England, where he agrees to marry Elizabeth after he comes back from the British
Isles. Then he destroys the project to make a new creature and goes back and later plans to marry
Elizabeth. the monster is not happy and seeks his revenge on Victor for not upholding his part of the
bargain. Victor marries Elizabeth and on the wedding night he makes sure that everything is secure so the
monster cannot try to take its revenge. Unfortunately for Victor the monster does get into the wedding
chamber and strangles Elizabeth. Victor is furious and wants revenge, so he chases the monster till Russia,
where he meets Robert Walton, Robert takes Victor on board to recover. The monster comes and visits his
creator for the last time because Victor dies. The monster tells Walton he will burn his funeral pyre. Then the
