Definitie: eten en slikken
Eten (drinken): Is het proces van voedselopname van mond tot maag, met inbegrip van de sensorische
activiteit, het gedrag, de opname van het voedsel en de verwerking daarvan.

Slikken = ( Van Dale: ‘’Door het keelgat doen gaan’’’) is het proces waarbij het voedsel via de orale, faryngale
en oesfageale fase naar de maag wordt getransporteerd.
