1.1 Introduc,e tot voorraden

Waarom voorraadbeheer en wat is het belang?

Belanghebbenden:
1. Financial manager
- Financiële waarde van de voorraad is belangrijk
- Financiële rapportering naar stakeholders
- OpFmalisaFe van de cashflow (overstock vs understock)

è Wenst zo weinig mogelijk voorraad wegens lager working capital bij hoge voorraden!

2. Warehouse manager
- Plaats-opFmalisaFe in het magazijn (SMCG achteraan, FMCG vooraan, groepage goederen)
- Hoe meer goederen, hoe complexer
- Vermijden van kosten voor obsolete goederen (end of life, shelf life)

End of life cycle: van producten die men niet meer produceert, gebruikt men de spare-parts na verloop
van Fjd ook niet meer.

Shelf life: dit is de levensduur van een product; de route to market mag maximum ¼ zijn van deze
levensduur. Dit doet men om producten zo vers mogelijk op de markt te brengen.

Cycle counHng: op regelmaFge basis op de daluren locaFes in het warehouse tellen.
Wall to Wall count: van de ene muur tot de andere tellen, alle acFviteiten liggen sFl.

Unit of Measure (UOM): soms kan order picker anders denken over één eenheid: 1 doos met 100 nagels
kan de UOM 1 doos zijn, maar ook 1 nagel = duidelijk specificeren (per stuk, per doos, per pallet).

è Vermijden extra handling kosten en streven naar vloOe warehouse processen en minder voorraad

3. Planning afdeling/aankoop afdeling
- Wanneer goederen bestellen?
- Hoeveel goederen bestellen?
- Pieken en dalen opvangen (vb. seizoenen)
- Grote hoeveelheden om korFngen te bekomen

è Streven naar meer voorraden, willen absoluut vermijden dat er tekorten zijn

- Zo hoog mogelijke customer service graad (OTIF)
- Zo goed mogelijk het koopgedrag in kaart te brengen

è Zo hoog mogelijke voorraden: vermijden van stockbreuk

è Conclusie: er zijn meerdere stakeholders bij voorraden met (soms) tegenstrijdige belangen!
