One version of me is enough!
In the past many animals have been cloned. The first and most famous one was
Dolly the sheep. After her, many other animals followed. Think about cloned cats,
dogs, calfs. China even cloned monkeys! When something is cloned, the DNA of
the nucleus of an animal’s cell is transferred into an egg cell of another animal. A
great benefit of cloning monkeys according to the Chinese, is that they can research
human diseases better because monkeys are very similar to humans. Although the
Chinese do not have any plans yet to clone humans, it did made me think about the
possibility to clone myself. I mean, it could be fun since I have a lot of humor and that
would mean that I would have a blast with my second me but, just like any other
person, I unfortunately have a lot of flaws too and I do not think that I would enjoy
breakfast with double the morning moodiness. I think one version of me is enough!
