Chopped ball - ---✔✔✔ANSWER----An illegal shot in which the ball is
deliberately hit hard downward so that it bounces into the air in an attempt to
avoid being caught.
fair ball - ---✔✔✔ANSWER----- ball may go foul and come back fair before
1st and 3rd
- ball is judged where ball is, not where it is fielded
- fly ball is judged at first point of contact after 1st and 3rd
foul ball - ---✔✔✔ANSWER-----any batted ball that stops or settles in foul
territory w/ out first being touched in fair territory, beyond 1st and 3rd base
-strike unless batter has 2/3
- foul ball may be caught and runner may advance
