A1: Strengths
1. A Energy company IT department contains professionals with years of experience and
who are well-educated and certified individuals. The team is more than capable of
leading and executing any changes or integration needed to improve all IT infrastructure.
2. A Energy company interconnectivity is a strength as it allows two sites to work
simultaneously as if they were all in one building. As a result, this will enable employees
to perform remotely and travel while utilizing the company's VPN when they are not in
the office. Employees can concentrate on getting their jobs done than fretting about
network connectivity.
3. IT and Security Monitor- Managers are experts in disaster preparedness. I would
recommend to implement a policy and procedure to guarantee that the company's security
and data is not compromised in a natural disaster. As a result, the company has
established a daily backup system that permits data to be current and updated every 24
hours. In addition, the IT infrastructure can power supplies and uninterruptible power
supply, which would enable all employees to continue to work in the restoration phases
of a natural disaster.
